I am a designer in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I have been working as a front end designer for the past 19 years primarily in the insurance industry. The first ten years I worked for Macmillan Publishing® and Conseco® Insurance Company. The past nine years I have worked for Dearborn National® which is a subsidiary of Health Care Service Corporation® which many people will know as Blue Cross and Blue Shield® of Illinois, Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. I enjoyed working in the corporate environment and I enjoyed working with my co-workers, but I reached a point in my life where I wanted to try something new. I decided to leave and focus more on freelance.

I am a designer that can help bridge the gap between IT and the Business owner. I specialize in Web Design, Usability, Front End/UI Development and Graphic/Print Design. This experience could be useful if you need work done in the application development life-cycle, usability, consulting and project management. I have experience creating wire-frames and HTML prototypes and I am experienced in working with large development and implementation teams to deliver portal applications.
